Top 3 Ways to Explore the Camden Harbor

1. Embark on a Sightseeing Cruise

Perhaps the best way to see most of our area is on a sightseeing tour. We recommend Camden Harbor Cruises! This company has several sightseeing options for guests to choose from like lobstering, eco-tours, lighthouses, morning, and sunset tours. Two of our favorite tours are the Sunday Morning Lighthouse Cruise and the Two-Hour Sunset Cruise. Both are excellent bookends to your day!

The Sunday Morning Lighthouse Cruise is a three-hour experience that takes guests by some of the most popular Camden, Maine, lighthouses. This tour is offered on Sundays from mid-May through October.

The Two-Hour Sunset Cruise is offered by charter only. Email camdenharborcruises@gmail.com to arrange your tour!

2. Hike to Panoramic Views

There are endless hiking opportunities in Camden Hills State Park. The Mount Battie Trail is the most popular hike in the area — and for good reason! This easy 1.1-mile hike offers wonderful views of the Camden Harbor and Penobscot Bay at its summit. Not a hiker? Don’t worry. Visit Camden Harbor Park for more incredible waterfront views!

3. Dine at Waterfront Restaurants

Relax and enjoy breathtaking views at waterfront restaurants in Camden, Maine! Our favorite restaurants in downtown Camden serve local flavors and equally indulgent views. We recommend Peter Ott’s on the Water for beautiful views of Camden Harbor. It’s a great spot to enjoy fresh-catch seafood during your trip. You won’t be disappointed at any of the Maine lobster offerings!
