Over in Camden Hills State Park, you’ll find Mount Battie, an 800-foot peak that gives you some of the best views of the stunning Camden Harbor. The site also features several hiking trails and the historic World War I Memorial Tower.

Camden is quite memorable, featuring a walkable town layout with shops, restaurants, and the harbor all in close proximity. That said, a car rental can make it much easier to reach certain hiking trails and beach access points and to take a day trip.
