Huse
Huse is a spacious, three-room suite occupying the entire third floor of the Inn. This guest room, which can accommodate three persons, is perfect for families and those who enjoy relaxing in their own private space. It is named after the Huse family, which owned the house that became the Inn through several generations covering almost a century (1843-1939). Huse has two bedrooms, a living room and private bathroom. The main bedroom is decorated in cheery shades of yellow, red and green and is furnished with an antique brass-and-iron queen bed, wooden armoire, hand-painted dresser, and ceiling fan. The other bedroom is decorated in pink and green shades and features an antique brass-and-iron twin bed and wooden dresser. The living room is furnished with a comfortable sofa, two club chairs, flat-screen TV and DVD player, bookcase lined with classic and contemporary works of fiction and nonfiction, writing desk, ceiling fan, and wide-plank wood floors that are original to the house. The bathroom includes a walk-in shower and large skylight over the sink which allows natural light to shine in. Huse’s main bedroom and bathroom have peaceful views of the Inn’s beautiful, park-like garden, and the other bedroom and living room have wonderful views of the lovely white clapboard houses along historic High Street.
